It just sounds like a bigger job than it really is. I've even done it without a jack. 30mins tops. There's a few DIY in here for headlight removal that shows you how to take bumper off.

So after work I went to another local dealer where I bought my car
And they would fix it for free ! But I'll have to come tomorrow since closing time .. Never going back to that dealer |

"Many stories" like how many? I've never heard of anyone getting theirs ripped off. I also lined mine with 3M tape...mainly because I'm OCD. I could barely get them to budge with a trim tool so I'd like to see someone try and pull them off.
