That is literally the best thing Pobst has ever said about a BMW since I started watch him and reading his comments. Even better than what he said about the GT4. He's not generally a big fan of modern BMW tuning.

IMHO it's because he has logged a ton of time in Porsches Two seconds a lap improvement  over the standard car is a huge difference and shows how much more performance BMW has extracted with the M4 GTS!  Should be interesting to see him drive an M3 or M4 ZCP to see if it slots right in the middle. |

Agree, 2 seconds is alot. Still on short 2.6km hockenheim Gts is 3.2 seconds faster than the normal M4.

The reason is, you hear randy tell in gt350 vid, he was deadly comited set a solid lap time, that almost never happen he say. He seems more on it in this car than BMW

Some porky nr.
GTS on motortrend is 1635kg, its them US seats that put extra pork on it as we all know. German sport auto car on euro Buckets was 1601kg My car is 1610kg, as I got all extras like HUD, and all internet and consiglier service etc. That ad up like 9kg extra over sport auto car. |

Yes I would arge also that without take anything away from normal M4, it not that easy to just put on MPSC2 on the normal M4. Sure it would be faster than if on normal street tires. But due to cup tires 2 part layout and the lack of camber a bone stock M4 would not make use of the MPSC2 tires as god as GTS do.
