Dude. They are killing me! Still don't have the car. It was supposed to be here today. Was told by genius this morning it was waiting on a truck and would be delayed another couple days.

So. Spoke to Genius today. Car hasn't left the VPC yet. I was told October 1st for Dealership arrival. Keeps getting pushed back. I just made a payment on a car that I still do not have. I am tempted to ask for another lease payment. BMW is really working on my last ounce of patience at this juncture. It really is ridiculous.

Yoda, I feel your pain. I ordered my car in June and rolled off the production line July 5th. It sat in Germany for 2 months then it was finally loaded on Tortugas. It arrived in Halifax on Sep 12th and I still don't know when I'll be taking delivery. The lack of regular updates from my dealer is so frustrating.

No. The "genius's" don't have that info. I am going to get my CA involved tomorrow. I'm hoping that the car wasn't damaged along the way.

Sorry Yoda. Could "genius" tell you if there are any work orders on the car? If they are all completed then it's likely there is no shipping damage. Seems like it's hard to get a straight answer from BMW. I'm sure you've been very patient so far and that sucks you are being treated this way. I would see if your ca can find anything out. I hate to doing this but sometimes you have to make some noise for them to do what's fair. You would think after the euro delivery, they would try to take a little better care of you. Hopefully when u get your car, you'll just be able to enjoy it and forget about all this.

Rich - call customer relations - they have more detailed info than genius. I can't believe you still don't have your car. We are all pulling for you man. Hope that you are able to make it on the 9th!

Ya. I'm gonna have to. Ive been trying to be patient as I know delays happen but it's almost October. Hopefully I'll see you on the 9th. I'll keep you guys posted.

So my car has arrived to the dealership but they are telling me I can't take delivery until next week. Something about the title not being in the paperwork from Germany. Never heard of such a thing. Anyone else?

The title is generated and issued in the US by your dealer and the DMV.

Sounds like the same BS why I couldn't take delivery on the day my car came off the truck. The DMV paperwork wasn't ready because they did not have the VIN in time...they had the VIN since I did the paperwork before Europe on 6/24. Car was unloaded from the truck and I got a call around 2:30 that it had showed up. 30 minutes later I drive there and its been taken out of transport mode and my Euro plates went missing (both of them). 5pm the car was detailed and a dealer badge appeared on it. My CA apparently had a delivery that lasted 3 hours and today was his early day. I took delivery the next day at the same time as another couple buying a CPO X3.

I can't wait to roast him on social media.

That's what I thought. There is no title from Europe. This dealership isn't well versed in ED. I knew that going in. I just told them no drilling of the front bumper and leave the Euro plates with the car. Hopefully I'll have the car in the next few days. Looks like I should be able to make it on the 9th. Wife wants to come also. I turned her into a car person.

my plates were left on they let me take them off..but i live in PA and we do not have the front plate law..

Did you have a failed Euro Delivery? achtung and I did. Our cars went back to the factory for Diff repair. Somewhere along the way they discarded our plates. I even left the ppwk on The front seat and trunk asking that the Zoll plates be kept with the car.

Finally!!!! Love the car. It's all worth it now. No Zoll plates but we ordered replacements online.
