No your factory warranty does not remain intact... it's intact until something goes wrong and BMW scans your vehicle and sees that the ECU was modified or the boost & fuel trims were above normal.

Same deal with any tune on the market.

Yes, but he is saying that Pfaff is backing the car. So in this scenario, Pfaff would back the 'warranty' repair not BMW Canada, correct?

Exactly, Pfaff would not install a tune on a warrantied M3 if they were not willing nor knew the outcome of a warranty claim. Especially since I got the extended warranty lol
