Are we sure it's not a test of the next 335 with factory upgrades?

Probably. It will be nice to have prettier brakes. The current M3's OEM brake calipers are kinda ugly.

Yes, blue brakes have become the new signature of all M models beginning with the new M5 and M6.

I'm still not clear why they are calling the coupe a M4 and calling the sedan M3. Shouldnt be the other way around???

That would actually be reverse of the naming conventions going forward. It's clear that BMW's plan is to name all sedans/touring/hatchbacks/GTs with odd numbers, while all coupes/convertibles/gran coupes get even numbers.

Here's a model map:

1 Series = three and five door hatchback, upcoming GT (based off Concept Active Tourer)
2 Series = upcoming coupe, convertible, gran coupe (all based off the 1 Series)

3 Series = sedan, touring, GT
4 Series = coupe, convertible, possible gran coupe (all based off the 3 Series)

M3 = sedan
M4 = coupe, convertible, and possible gran coupe (all based off the M3)

5 Series = sedan, touring, GT
6 Series = coupe, convertible, gran coupe (all based off the 5 Series)

M5 = sedan
M6 = coupe, convertible, gran coupe (all based off M5)

apparently you can't see the aggressive wheels, and the wide stance, in addition to the quad exhaust.

if aggressiveness is measured by number of exhausts and wheels then I will loose my case.

For *few people* why the love to the M3 brand not just the E90 is beacuse of the stance of the car, the lines and the curves. and I do not want to look at it from the back to see the "aggressiveness quad exhausts"

it will for sure.. if they are going to keep using the same 3.0 I6 with tri turbo, they will have to push alot of boost to get to 412hp.

a smaller V8 3.9 or 4.0 with a smaller trubo to get the required HP and Torque will make every one happy but a modified N55 !!

It's hard to read your posts, but I can assure you that the F82 will have a wider track and wider tires than the E90/92.

This statement should now be changed. Same power is not more powerful. Torque is not power

Unless there is a nice surprise coming up

Well to be fair it did say approximately the same power. The problem is a very small bit more power is precisely not enough.

Unless it comes with a 200-300 lb weight reduction.
