I believe the roof shape in general makes this color not a proper fit on the vert.
i think the easiest fix is to wrap the roof with matt black, it would look like cloth from a distance and reduce the smurfiness of the color in general lol

YMB is suited to paint baby rooms, stomach medicine or ED pills.
YMB looks ok on the F80, but that is with the CF roof and 19 inch silver wheels, only. But then again, any color would be ok on the wide bodied F80 with the CF roof and some aggressive wheels. YMB does not look good on the F83 or F82. The F83 looked good in a publicity photo with red interior, dark grey paint and darker 19 in wheels, and the top down. Probably with San Marino Blue, some silver 19 wheels and a soft top the F83 would look the part, like an M6 does. The F83 does not look good with the top up. Honestly, YMB on an F83 looks bland, painful and medicinal. OP, thanks for posting. |

http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=983996 I too dislike how this chrome line looks, particularly on a darker colour which I would chose for the vert in order to hide the roof folding lines. |

Im actually a big fan of Estoril on the new F30s, but of course, we didn't get that option.

The color is just to faded to me. I feel like it takes away from the aggressive lines of the car.

I finally got a chance to see yas marina in person at bimmerfest but on ind f10 m5 though. I actually think the color is pretty nice, but some that have seen it make such a mockery of the color like it so bad. The color is pretty nice.
On a side note finally saw the m4 in austin yellow. The car is so sick in person. Love the m4 and I wouldnt mind owning austin yellow solid color. I don't like Phoenix Yellow though. I don't think yas marina look good on the f10 though. |

The color has a metallic finish to it. Noticed that in a picture taken up close. Looks better than I initially thought.
