yep...still on Euro delivery and many more videos to come, but WE ARE HAVING A BLAST WITH OUR NEW CARS! Anyone that doesn't think the new M3 is the joint can go fly a kite...don't like the sound? suck it. don't like the colors? suck it. don't like the 6 cylinder? suck it...

Really though, you can't beat this:

edit: youtube link..

There will be plenty of sexy sharp video coming down the pike, but since we are all still in Europe the quick rough and dirty must suffice.

I love watching videos of these cars on the track, so I thank you for that.

I just had to stop because of the driver. That down shifting for the sake of it was annoying.. The motor was not sounding like it was having a good time being redlined for no reason while slowing into a corner.

Agreed. I read this comment before I watched the video and assumed it was just some sort of 'track guy elitism' but really, those downshifts seemed almost random.

Nice.

But... sure, everyone can do with his car what he wants, it's his car (until he sales it to somebody else), but it kind of hurts to see how the car is treated during the break in period.

Glad to see you guys are having fun.
Thanks for sharing and looking forward to more footage from the trip.
Question regarding the track day -
In the E46 M3, if you track it hard, towards the middle of the session more or less (depending on the track conditions), the coolant and oil temps will start to rise and you'll have to let the car cool down at some point.
Since it's pretty evident you guys were not holding back, I was wondering if the extra cooling BMW bragged about is working.
Did anyone have overheating issues?
Since it's

This is starting to worry me now. That's two turbo hoses that got disconnected that I've heard of. The first being at Portimao.

Another hose clamp came off is this going to be a recall for a better clamp? Should I buy a few of these?
