We have a lot of stuff to try to code out, so when I have an opening in the schedule, I'm going to try to take the car to Alex @ Alpine and see what we can do.

I probably missed it somewhere...how did you mount the wing to the trunk? Did you reinforce the trunk lid? I didn’t see it in any of the photo albums.

a) I could have not done a great job of showing that and b) it seems the links to photos on Facebook albums change and a lot of pictures could be missing from the thread. I'll try to get some this weekend.

The M4 is ready to go to Buttonwillow this weekend. We are going to try slightly larger diameter rear tires and see if it affects the ABS

Time to do the complete interchangeable RB progressive system upgrade from iron rotors to CCB rotors and pads without changing the calipers!

We start with the CCB rotors machined from continuous fiber, not molded from chopped fiber like all the mass production CCB rotors out there

Again, using hats forged from 6061 T6, not machined from billet and using the best attachment hardware.

The weight of a 380mm CCB rotor and hat

The sintered pads have copper coated backing plates for better heat dissipation

What kind of life do you expect from these?

Don't know yet - that's part of our mission to find out. From what I understand, the rotors are supposed to last a long time and they can also be re-conditioned. So we'll be monitoring the wear on these and for the next event at Cal Speedway, I'll be putting temp. paint on the rotors (and maybe on the back of the pads)

Remember us putting in this guy earlier this year? At Buttonwillow this past weekend, the car started running rough at the end of Saturday's race. Brought the car down pit lane and we were able to see there was a code for cylinder 5 misfire, before we cycled power and continued. So it has already proven to be useful as we were able to change the coil pack on cylinder 5 before Sunday.

So the rotors and pads installed no problem - pretty much plug and play from the iron rotor set up. These rotors are thicker, so we did have to make a little more dust shield clearance.

Working on a new livery for our sponsor Racing Brake for the Bimmerfest races at Auto Club Speedway. Going from Lime Green to Orange

We do a color sample sheet to test color and opaqueness. We went with #1

Gotta get the car back to base white

Adding silver and black on the fenders

Put orange on the doors

Adding black front bumper

Getting to lay out stickers

I would really appreciate if you can share the alignment settings, especially front & rear camber and toe.

How do you tell when this rotor is worn and ready for replacement?

I will look and see if I can find the alignment sheet from the last time we had it on the rack.

A shot of the new livery on the ground

Should have picked a different color for the front fender - the black makes it look like a huge wheel opening.

For config. 13 CCW, definitely under 2 min. Depending on the driver, could be low 1:50's

Here is the full livery outdoors
