Most of the butthurt from a previous generation M owner goes away when he/she buys the new one or just loses the will to troll.
The E46 people whined about the E92 for a solid year. "It's too heavy, the steering sucks, looks girly, THERE'S A FAKE HOOD VENT OMG, " etc etc. Then, as befits the old, they either died naturally or were eaten by predators.

Well he liked the E92 M3 enough to purchase it at the time. Now he states the new M3 is light years ahead. Seems like a great car much like it's predecessors, even more so.

I never said the E9x is crap, or obsolete, or bashed it at all. I have owned 2 of them and I loved every minute of the car. What I am trying to say is that I am tired of hearing the same old things about why they wouldnt get a F8x M3/M4. Even though most of the reviews I read say why it is better than the E9x era. Doesnt mean the car is a sudden piece of crap! It just means there are improvements(like with all new cars that come out) 1. Updated Modern Look(Exterior/Interior) 2. More torque 3. Lightweight 4. Better gas mpg etc. And yes the E9x had its accomplishments too 1. More power 2. Fascinating V8 3. Updated look(for its time) 4. Carbon roof Either way, all M3s have its own character.

Not directed at you, but to anyone considering it, don't be a scumbag and torrent or view their content on streams. If you like their content, support them with an extremely nominal fee. They don't have any other form of income and depend on subscriptions now that YouTube pulled the plug on their contract.

Maybe 3 hours of total content a month, and I'm skeptical of even that. Even so, I only watch Chris Harris on cars and he puts out one 7-15 min video every week. I know he's put out more so far on drive plus but that's because it's new and they're trying to convince people to sign up as well as the fact that they have been off for quite some time and have built up a good amount of footage. I may be wrong but either way I don't see myself paying the $4 a month. |

Most will buy it because it's new.
Not everyone wants an old car. E9x are not new anymore, simple. Lots of folks out there replace their car every 2 - 3 years with something newer. I am not an exception. |
