That cop was cool as hell. In lame ass Ontario, that would have been stunt driving, up to 10k fine, car impounded for 7 days and possible jail time. Been through it, it effin blows.

In several states I've lived in that kind of "racing" would result in the cops taking your car and a felony charge.

stunt driving sounds super subjective. ... like if you reach 60mph in less than 8 seconds is that how they quantify it? ?

I was thinking these guys looked under control with little/no wheel spin but just quick acceleration .. I saw the 35mph sign and realized they were likely doing 50 so that appears to be a good reason ... but of course I wasn't there

It all comes down to your attitude when you get pulled over. I was testing my 0-60 times from a stoplight once lol. Cop pulled me over... I was nice, gave her everything she needed, and she let me go with a "take it easy on these roads"

i pulled away... saw their flashing lights in the rearview...

they stopped me and showed me the video of myself doing 120 over the speedlimit...

The video is edited. If you're a part of BMW marketplace group on Fb you can see the full video. Where the cop just snuck in and lights turned green.

There was a bit of the video that was edited out at the beginning. The police car creeped up right as the light was about to turn green. By that time the cars were probably more focused on the light.
