Roman,

Do you have Dyno comparison of all 3 maps hp/tq/boost so we can get a visual?

Just got my ESS 3-map box. I haven't tried the other maps yet, but the linear is very fun and allows me to rev the engine more often and hear my Akrapovic more, so its all good! I will try the other maps later this week and see.

Thanks Roman. Great job. Is there any way you can post all three dyno charts here?

Can you easily change between the 3 maps from your car?

The map switching is done in the engine bay by the press of a button. It is very easy to do

Is there an upgrade path for those with the 1 map box?

Correction...piggybacks without either CANbus or MAF control will trigger codes at increased airflow levels (such as AA's). The way this is worded will fool some into thinking all piggybacks will result in issues when you "push really hard."

My definition of "pushing really hard" is the use of high boost levels. Pushing high boost levels on this platform with a piggyback if you have MAF interface or not will still cause issues. I have yet to see a piggyback pushing high boost that does not have random CEL and limp mode issues. This is the reason we do not run high boost maps with our piggyback. High boost will be an option via our ECU tune as you simply have more control with an actual ECU flash VS piggyback. Our piggyback has MAF control via direct connections to the MAF sensors and we keep boost within limits that allow the car to perform without issues.

Honestly, I am very happy with the ESS tune, especially now that I have maps to change depending on my mood.I will gladly give up 10 or 20 hp and not have CEL and other drivability issues. I am not sure I even want a non-piggy back tune, as the extra hp may come in the expense of detectability by the dealer and thus the voiding of warranty.

Roman, good job!

In testing now. It should be finished in the next 2 weeks. It will require the ECU to be removed for programming and will not be a DIY flash so it will co exist along side of our piggyback which offers a different option for customers.

Is the 3-map box now the standard E-Tronic unit? Is that what I'll receive if ordered or is the 1-map box still the standard unit?
