I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not, I truly hope you are.

This clip is small, and doesn't demonstrate the sound of the 6 cylinder in the higher RPM's. It sounds fine in terms of the bass in lower RPM - that's fine. But it's not a screamer like its predecessors, and because of that, the sound will always be an issue.

Most of us know that it will never sound as great as the E9X or the E46 M3, but we're hoping that something close to it can be achieved through aftermarket exhausts.

You heard enough there at 3000 rpm to make that call?

Sure do and will, I don't need to be swayed by bunch of experts that like to jack off to their v8s thinking it's the best car since slice bread just casue it revs at 8000 just to achieve full power lol. This is amazing that just because the exhaust sound is not like a slow sluggish old outdated E92m then omfg it's not worth it. Every sign ponts toward a car that will make the older model look and feel slow and outdated. Sorry if this hurts the fan boys, get used it. The video is great even though I am the M3 guy but the white and the sound was great.

So if it sounds good at 3000 rpm (I believe that was second gear at over 5000 rpm) why would it sound worst at higher rpm?

It was partially tongue-in-cheek, but answer me this.....

.....How come detractors can draw conclusions based on an S55 being revved at low RPM's with no load, but people who are less inclined to make snap judgments against the car can't draw a conclusion based on an M4 being driven at low RPM's in an urban environment? You can't have it both ways.

What its predecessor sounded like is irrelevant. Nobody drew a comparison to the E9X in this thread.

it will never sound like the S65. get over it people. forums are funny. it's a 3.0 I6 TT. It will sound unique and great in its own way. It's an M car. IMO the E46 M3 still is the worst sounding M car, but at the same time, its still my favorite. if your buying a car for pure grunt, get a domestic.

Uhhhh... First time I've heard that comparison attempted, I guess.

In other news, the coupe's weird proportions aren't as evident in motion. The car looked good in that video.

Are you sure this is not Mineral White?
Because the car and location are very familiar to me.

That's because the coupe doesn't have weird proportions except in certain photos. In person, it looks the business!!
