Any shops doing coding in Charlotte yet? I'm not interested in remote coding.

Had a few sightings recently - white m4 on Woodlawn and park last Sunday around 4:15.

I think there is a big m meet going on in Greenville mid-July. Outside of that not aware of anything.

To kick something off - for those interested in getting together at some point, message me your email address and we can send out a communication since many of us may not regularly visit the forums.

I'm on here just about everyday. I am doing performance center delivery for a 2018 M4 on June 30, 2017. I can't wait.

Anyone local do the track nights through track night in America? Every 3rd Thursday April- August it Carolina Motorsports Park in Kershaw, SC. And there is a special one June 29th at Charlotte Motor Speedway. I started doing them last year and now I'm addicted. I have never done a HPDE because I don't have the time for a full day thing, but this is so easy. Just basically show up and drive! It's a great way to get cheap track time and be able to have fun in your F8x. It would be great to see some other M cars out there!

Nothing performance wise now though at the track I use Toyo Proxes R888r tires on the stock 19" wheels. I bought the stage I tune from Burger Tuning a couple months ago (not wanting to get too complicated with the full JB4)

I so far also have:

A generic rear carbon fiber diffuser (from China)
Black exhaust tips from Burger Tuning
Unplugged the active sound module
Exhaust flap controller
Vorsteiner BFF 103 19" wheels
BMS intake

The added power of the Stage 1 tune is amazing. I could absolutely tell a difference over stock. I am waiting for an estimate for a professional tune from Bosworth Customs in Charlotte. I want something a bit more powerful I can drive daily and track without having to worry about check engine lights and clearing codes.

Wish list: ground control camber plates, change out the MPSS to either Nitto NT555 G2 or the re71r for daily driving, and front lip.

Any safety equipment needed like helmet or otherwise?

Do they offer track insurance?

I might come down but I'd probably run street tires.

Other than a helmet and a working car, nothing else needed. The majority of people run with their stock tires and brake pads that I have seen.

There is a link to track insurance on the website. You are on track with other cars but not racing wheel to wheel. They stress it's for fun, it's not a race, and passing is only allowed in a few designated areas (longer straightaways where it's safe)

Congrats!

PCD was best decision ever considering we live so close.

How was it? Now driving the car like a grandma during the break in period will be tough as hell.

Wassup NC Group!

I lurked for a bit while my new lady was in production. Just picked her up a couple of weeks ago and what an upgrade from my S5. 2018 Sahkir Orange II lowered on H&R sport springs, 18MM VRSF spacers all around, Blacked out grills, side markers, and M4 emblem, matte black lip and side skirts plus all the CF goodies I'm a happy camper in Raleighwood!
