Lightbulb BMW M4 vs Mercedes-AMG C63 S Coupe visual comparison

BMW M4 vs Mercedes C63 S AMG Coupe visual comparison

COMMENTS

The Mercedes Benz C63 and C63 S AMG coupes have been revealed to directly take on the M4 coupe. The two C63 coupe models share the sedan version's twin turbo 4.0L V8, but they feature different tunes. The C63 features 469 HP / 479 LB-FT torque and the C63 S features 503 HP / 516 LB-FT.

The standard coupe covers 0-60 in 3.9 seconds while the S model does it in 3.8 seconds. Both coupes utilize Mercedes' AMG Speedshift seven-speed automatic transmission.

Compare this to the M4 with its 425 HP / 406 LB-FT twin turbo 3.0L inline 6 which does 0-60 in 3.9 seconds (with a 7-speed DCT).

The M4 and C63 S performance are pretty close on paper, so let's compare their styling.

The AMG model definitely looks better than the C300/400. It looks especially menacing in this pic.

M4 is a better looking car. Benz is like two different cars welded together at the B-pillar. Squared front and rounded rear just doesn't work.

What happen to MB's rear? Looks like a VW CC to me.

Both look good in their own way but personally I prefer the M4.

It also seems like the "exhaust tips" are just part of the bumper design.

Yeah! I been noticing some of their models having that look!
It's like it wants to look like a hatchback, but it's not!
A bit confusing to look at. But still a nice design

Something about the rear quarter panel of the Benz isn't right. The big body colored piece of the roof between the glass panel roof and rear window should have been painted black; it interrupts the flow of the car.

MB has some very nice design elements. The problem is that they don't seem cohesive with one another. It seems as though they tried too hard to make it interesting and unique and it doesn't flow, it isn't clean, there's too much going on. I think the M4 is a beautiful looking car. My only complaint about it is the rear quarter section looks much too long and expansive, disproportionately so.

I agree with you SickFinga, this picture shows it even more. The top is to narrow for the bottom half of the car. The front is very aggressive but the rear is weird looking even with the flares. I love the front of the car but not the rest of it. The m4 looks like a more evenly distributed design to me. I'm not hating on the Benz, it's just my opinion on the c63 sedan and coupe. My wife owns a Benz E350 and I love that car, and Almost picked up a 2014 c63 sedan. Performance wise these cars are so close together that I'm sure anyone will enjoy whatever car they pick for their needs.

that MB is ugly! Not feeling the rear tail lights and the open space in the rear bumper. Their design team needs to re-design this car.

The Coupe AMG definitely looks better than the sedan. Also the interior is stunning. However, the M is still a better looking car that will age better. Look at older Mercedes compared to BMWs, the BMWs have aged far better. The only thing that the AMG offers that better than the M is the interior.

C63 looks more expensive, M4 looks more focused.
