Are the internal black-out headlamps the case for both the standard headlights as well as the adaptive lights (with the hex pattern), or just the adaptive ones as in these photos of the white F80?

The blacked out lights are on both.

I'm still torn over alpine white

I ultimately decided $4k is not justifiable just for the hex style lights while I don't care about anything else in the package. If they threw a separate lighting package for 1.5k maybe. Knowing now that both headlights styles are blacked out, it doesn't make me regret the hex lights.

I still have no idea what my car will actually look like (except from European online build configurations). Alpine white, standard (new) headlights, competition package/silver wheels.

OP, your car looks awesome, I had a hard time deciding between black/silver wheels. Now you have me doubting again. The black wheels look really good at an angle, but seem to lose depth to the silver ones when looking directly from the side. I think I should just stop looking at pictures on this forum.

I appreciate that everyone’s budgets are different, but when buying the last version of this model to keep for 2-4 years, I couldn’t imagine not selecting all of the options that make that car unique to the last 4 years - headlights being the most obvious. Cars are fully specced in Australia, so they just come with everything basically, but I’d still choose the latest LED headlights if I needed to choose them as an option.

I agree, and why I struggled with the decision. But damn 4k for the lights and every single other option that I couldn't care for. The UK has the hex light option for $1,500, they got it right. The 17 models had the lighting package for $1,900, that would have been reasonable also.

I've been toying with the idea of replacing these wheels, but they look so damn good in the dark finish.

I'm looking into front/rear aero as well.

That's essentially my issue, if I don't stick to an OEM look, the wheels might look left behind.

Vorstiener Rear, PSM trunk lid, perhaps M Performance splitters/lip, etc.

This exact setup (wheels/aero), with gloss or matte black finish is what I have in mind.

The M3 is with fitted with 20x9.5 Front Wheels and 20x10.5 Rear Wheels w/ Michelin Tires tires. We also have the wheels secured onto the vehicle utilizing Vorsteiner Spline Wheel Bolts.

If you have any questions or inquires regarding the VFF 107 wheel availability & applications, please feel free to contact us @ support@vorsteiner.com

However the other wheels I have in mind are from Brixton - CM10. I think the Brixton may have a nicer design.

Yea, if you are happy with 20s then keep the m666. Only reasons I will swap mine is because I want 19s and I am a BBS whore.

Surprisingly great.

I've been saying to that ask that they feel 10-15% stiffer.

Though adding U.S. comfort EDC makes them feel stock!
