It's not wasting time when you have so many compelling thoughts to share!

I like it as all these great old reviews getting the dust knocked off ...

The one thing I can observe is that last time around on thr e92 m3 people raved about the engine, the handling and the dynamics. Car fatter than before but handling still epic. Steering dummed compared to less assisted racks but still accurate and with some feel. In summary it raised the bar for a performance car you can use every day.

This time around there is a new consensus, Car not as light as they thought it would become but handling better anyway. Great steering and balance almost inspite of it being electronic and losing sligthly more feel. Lame noise and less reason to rev both on terms of noise and in reward of gathering power - but then is less reason to rev a good thing if it makes every day easier to live with ? The bar has been raised again just in different places and with a small compromise on engine dynamics vs economy and outright performance.

Place your priority on those points as you feel. But the consensus from all who have actually driven the car seems as unaminous as the last time around although their relative priorities are again divided.

I just went to a new office today (same customer, but not buses anymore - cars instead).

First thing they noticed was my laptop screen (okay, it is on the customer's laptop) which of course displayed my next car... it took my responsible at customer side a fraction of a second to realize what car it was... and one more second to say that I have to remove the picture. Asking if he was just saying this or whether he meant it made me realize that he was certain about it...

Telling them later on the way to lunch why I had this car on my screen actually made me think on how fast I might be out of that project...

So I need someone to write them a "take it easy" text which I can pass along

i will blow your mind right here...my 6000+ posts prob took less time than this thesis of a post with valid references

99% of my posts are three words or a bunch of and : and ...... i think your word count in this thread is actually bigger than my total word count here...maybe not, but i would say very close.

Just take your ribbing like a man! We've already determined your posts are shallow and meaningless, you don't have to explain it to us.

Ouch. It's like seeing someone step on a rake, turn around and then step on another rake.

Solstice buying a car with an official launch date of June 21st, which is the same day of summer solstice? Coincident? I think not!

That's it! That explains the delay. You're a genius!

Thank god his user name isn't equinox... or leap day.

Haha, hey now that was a low blow! Even I know exactly how no hope for life I am. I get shit too about that, that's why it needs to be shoveled off my porch. You see, now no one will know that I'm not the worst!
