BMW’s Edition series was by far one of the most popular looks for the E9x M3 cars, offering a depth and complexity that was impossible with normal painted gloss black grilles.

The Edition grilles featured a “black chrome” appearance - glossy chrome sheen without the glare and dark enough in color to complement BMW's window trim and glazing.

BMW has not offered this finish for the newer chassis, so our paint technicians at IND have invested a considerable amount of time and effort in creating our own version of this beautiful finish. Our finish has been developed in-house with a proprietary process that has not been used previously, outside of IND.

Cat,

Trying to decide if these will look OK with my MG paint i.e. will the black chrome stand by itself so to speak or will it look like a bad paint match to the MG!?

Love the look and as I am getting BC Forged RS41 wheels in black chrome in a week or 2, this might be the perfect compliment to them - main concern again is that they don't look like a mismatch paint job when installed.

We do not have photos of the black chrome against MG just yet unfortunately. There is enough of a color variance between the two however, that I personally think it will look very nice.

Most definitely - looking forward to installing and especially if the wheels manage to get here at roughly the same time. Have unfortunately had some less than stellar customer experiences with IND in the last few months re my modified BMW CF tips for my Eisenmann that to be honest left a bit of a sour taste but I have moved on

- still a big fan of all the mods you guys provide

Will do - sorry missed your post! Really hoping my wheels will be here at the same time but the other issue with them is that PSS tires are near impossible to buy due to Michelin supply issues at the moment - have them on order but likely delayed.

IND, are the black chrome grills still available? I have a totally stock SSII M4 and thing these would look amazing. Would be looking for the pack with the matching side vents and exhaust tips. I’m in Australia.
