I can confirm the battery drain is an issue. This issue is also acknowledged by Marius (coder) as he's had reports from other owners on this.
I got the message after 2 days of no driving, so it doesn't seem to affect the battery in the short term < 1-2 days. Not sure why the lights are are pinging the computer modules while the car is off, but I hope this is somehow resolvable. |

You have LCI non adaptive LED's. (non-Ikon from 2108-2020)

just read through this and have a question. i am about to buy a gently used set of very similar headlights from a member on here and my plan was to do yellow DRL's at the same time as install basically (so i don't have to install twice).. can you guys confirm if these are the same type you all have and if not does this heat sink mean there is a drl board underneath that i can swap with a yellow one...? thanks,

Trust me, you do not have adaptive lights there. These are non adaptive LED lights. They would say BMW adaptive LED on the eyelid instead of BMW LED. You car can be coded for adaptive if you buy OEM lights.

roger, thanks for the confirmation... much appreciated. now the delima for me is if the extra $1000-2000 (depending if i get these UK euro RHD ones I need) is worth it just for some yellow DRL's... hmmmm, decisions decisions....
