I think by mid to late summer time. It wouldn't hurt to go ask your local dealer to look up a F8x parts in the ETK.

When BMW AG sends out the ETK to its dealers... many, many people from with in BMW have proofed read and checked all the part numbers and images. Some stuff might get by the first or second ETK release, but as subsequent ETK's versions are updated... so too is the technical and parts data.

Us mere mortals have to wait for BMW to update the ETK outside of BMW HQ to be able to have a good look at the parts and numbers.

Hopefully it will be done tomorrow or the next day

Thanks for the preview

So, for us that put our car away during the winter, will there be a trickle charger available to keep the battery charged during the long winter break?

That has been my worry. Same 'leichtmetal alloy' in other docs too.

It says "geschmiedet" = "forged" right there in the third line.

Since it is an inline engine, there is only one bank

One air intake for each turbo is more likely

I would like to see the parts for:
- side view mirrors (as I will replace the actual mirror with the German one which bends on the outside for better blind spot view)
- tail lights (as I will most likely replace these with the European version if it cannot be solved by coding, e.g. yellow turn signals)
- grill (this needs to be all black!)

You can see the dotted line on the glass... that is where the mirror starts to bend outwards and actually lets you see cars if their front is up to the drivers door. Apparently it does not come across very well in the picture.

Maybe this picture is better to show the feature:

Same counts for the right side of course... and the additional benefit: I'd get rid of this (IMO) stupid "Objects in mirror are closer than they appear"-sentence
