I just received my 2018 M3 allocation & production number

I dont even give a shit about the pricing that much. We have a pretty good idea of what to expect there. I want my delivery date confirmed so I can start booking my ED trip lol.

I believe that the consensus is that when official pricing is released, the system will be better able to accurately give build dates, etc.

At least that's the impression I got.

So I called BMWNA. Gave them my production number and I spoke with someone who said 'they've got my order right here, and they're going to get it submitted as soon as the guide is available.' Furthermore, 'hopefully' it'll be released this week.

Since I'm most concerned about getting my ED date... I'm told that the dates I want are still open. Which means that all that needs to happen is my order needs to get placed an assigned that date. I think. So hoping by the end of the week we're good to go.

You're lucky man, way ahead of the rest of us. I'm just sitting in the queue. No production number, no production date. Just a requested production date of 07/27/17...meaningless. =[

Right, basically all thats happened so far is I've got 1 of the 24 allocations.

But I've been trying to figure this out with dealerships since November. Just ask GOLFFRR how long i've been bugging him. lol so i've put in my dues haha.

odd thing is I have a production number however when i called bmw there is an error when they put in my production number into their system? I know the production number is correct as I have a screenshot-ed pic from my SA off their ordering screen... weird.

Don't worry...same thing happened to me when I called both the genius line as well as BMWNA. Well...not an "error," but they just couldn't pull anything up.

I just don't think their system is fully up and running yet, and probably won't be able to track or even locate vehicles until whatever "official" guide is released.

When I called, I gave them my last name and they pulled it up with that... i've been given the production number but I did not have to give that to the person on the phone.

Ordering guides are out in Canada. Now to convince the wife that our life will improve significantly with a 2018 M3!

Hopefully will be placing an order in the next week or so.

Pricing is included. $77,050 for Canada. It went up $1K from 2017. Sucks to be Canadian. The only thing different is the rear view camera is standard now.

There is an error in that Ordering Guide then... it still shows Bi-Xenon as standard.

You're right. It says standard for 2018 M4's but not for M3. My SA told me they are standard for M3's but thats not what it says. Will confirm.

Also, i was told by the SA that touch screen i-drive 6.0 is included.

Apparently its just an error in the guide. The Bi-LED is standard for 2018 M3's.
