disappointed that they got rid of the $1900 premium sound option and now its just the standard premium sound that you can get on the 3/4 series? Would be nice to have a sound option between the $900 and a $5000 that most car companies are now offering. Or they should have made the premium sound from the 3/4 series standard and this is the upgrade the old M3 used to have.

As others have stated, the option prices are not discounted and do look accurate to what they should be MSRP in the US. Full leather is only $2,000 more, seems like a steal compared to $3500 more for the M5.

My build should be between $75K and $77K depending on 19" wheel option and Adaptive suspension.

I have two builds, the optioned the way I would like build, then the Bare bones version. That Executive Package is the tough one, the only options I want are the HUD and Comfort Access.

On a side note, DON'T forget about taxes. That changes everything in terms of total price.

Taxes in my state will be over $5K

Taxes depend. I didn't pay any state taxes on my last BMW. I was living in Washington state and I'm a Florida resident. So I tagged the car in Florida. Florida's law states that if you are not going to drive the car on a Florida road for 6 months after purchase, no state sales tax.

Another military perk.

So where are all the people who were claiming it was going to be a 90k car nicely optioned?

Can someone explain to me why military gets discount vs. MSRP? Are there other organizations that can get the same discount? Is this indicative of "Best and Final" that dealer is willing to offer?

When I bought my Sienna, it was about $500 over invoice. What's $XXX over invoice that's possible for M3?

Thanks

It's something that BMW does. There are a few other manufacturers that offer this as well.

The fact that BMW does offer it keeps me coming back. It helps with brand loyalty and repeat buyers.

The standard audio in the F30 is better than the HK in the E9X so I am sure the standard audio in the F8X will be fine. B&O would be even better or if there is an individual option. The standard audio in the F30 doesn't touch the individual audio from the E9X but it isn't that bad.

As always, great military price, and the standard equipment puts my E92 to shame!

Good amount of standard equipment now. For the price of the car, comfort access should be standard too. IMO

I like the M3 $56k price. Not bad for what you get. I hope the ED will be somewhere around there for a base model.

It is mostly a US car maker thing, along with BMW, Nissan/Infiniti, Audi, and Range Rover (I might have forgot some). But MB and Porsche are definitely not part of this incentive.

It's not just military pricing, it's pricing for military members that are either stationed overseas, or deployed. A nice benefit for members of the armed forces, especially for those deployed in a combat zone.

My build:
$56,600 M3
$550 paint other than AW
$1200 19" Black wheels
$3900 Executive package
$1000 adaptive M suspension (not sure on this one)

$62,250 or $63250(with adaptive suspension)

Not bad considering a well optioned 335 is around $60,000. Sell my 09 335 and put $15-$20k down on the M3 and thats an affordable payment.

Anyone know if you can do a Welt Eurodelivery with the military sales program?
