after seeing this thread and pics, i am convinced i have to get an M car and do the ED! what an experience, Europe is just awesome ...

Few questions, your ED Program was planned with BMW Canada as a group event, is this for the GTA region only, one time or does it happen often ? was it an all inclusive package, or does the owner have to take care of the plane, hotel, restaurants, ... ok i found your other thread with more details !

It was a country wide gathering sir! Time of our lives! Keep a feeler out for next year. Talk of possibly a X5/6M euro experience tour.

it must have been ... i am looking to do so something for mid-life crisis, and an M3/4 and a trip like that is high on my list

BMW put a fantastic trip together but a "normal" ED is also a blast, especially in a new M3/4. You could pick your own schedule/route.

That's exactly what i was thinking, but i wasn't sure what existed, so we have a normal ED and the group planned one. The group planned one in this thread seems to be a unique event, w photographer, media, ... but i wouldn't have shelled out the extras of 10k to 15K to participate.

I'd do a tour of Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France and then Netherlands. Nevertheless, what a breath taking event ... let the dreaming, planning and budgeting start !

You won't regret it. I've done 2 EDs and this one organized by BMW was an unforgettable experience and so much fun.

If you can get a group together then BMW Canada and BMW AG would help you with the logistics and details.

Sounds great. Just make sure to budget enough time for a trip like that. 5 countries in 5 days is quite easy, but not really enjoyable, in my view.

She is finally Canadian eh!

She was dropped off a few hours ago all dirty from dust from most likely sitting in Halifax and, someone took the front plate and the navigation USB with the European maps, and left a bottle water with an eaten apple stuffed in it.

But at least she is here and will be ready for pickup on Thursday night!

Very cool. It may have seemed like a long time, but you actually had one of the fastest redeliveries ever. I get to wait another 3 weeks.
