Memberships: NJMP vs Lime Rock Park

Ignoring the differences in cost, if you were to get a driver's club membership for one of these, which would you choose? I.e. do you like LRP more than Lightning and Thunderbolt or vice versa?

Anyone who does have driver's club memberships for these - why did you do it? Close to where you live, love the track, etc.? And how do you like it/is it worth it.

I am not a member of either but prefer LRP. Below are some +/-

LRP Pros:
+ Closer to home (I’m also NYC)
+ More scenic (NJMP is a dump and there are no nice hotels)
+ 1.5 mile length means you have the opportunity to get lot of reps at LRP (I haven’t gotten bored yet)
+ Very technical track which is rewarding once you learn it
+ Great local hotels/dining options (we do long weekends)
+ Decent concession stand and excellent compressed air
+ Great instructors (Simon Kirby, Elivan, etc)
+ Great skid pad and auto-x
+ Unlike NJMP, LRP allows 4 point harness (I use QFP)

LRP Negatives:
- Favors momentum cars (I think a spec NA Miata with racer is about as quick as me in an F80)
- Tight track with limiting passing zones results in traffic (but the Driver’s Club seems to do a good job limiting the number of members on a given day)
- Not very forgiving if you go off track
- Expensive on-site fuel ($7.50/gallon for pump gas)
- No enclosed garages
- 88 db limit means you can’t install a wild exhaust

Millville is indeed a dump... I've only done one-day events there, where do you even stay the night for multi-day events?

Hampton Inn in Vineland is the best (terrible) option. It's a little further from the main drag in Millvill but it's worth it.

NJMP normally runs specials on their driver clubs membership during the December holiday so you may want to want until then.

NJMP driver's club seems MUCH more affordable than LRP, especially as a young'un with their age based tier
