tire splice visible

My set of v730 has a bit of splice showing up on one tire after the first weekend. Anything to be concerned about? Any way to correct it?

is this in the rear axle? If so, move it to the front. Sometimes switching axle and the rotation direction helps, other times it doesn't

Keep an eye on it between sessions

I got tired of splicing tires and stopped running them years ago, it's such a pain

I think this was right front, which would be the most abused tire on RA. Kumho told me I needed to talk to the shop about warranty. We will see how they respond.

Damn that's annoying - are these the v730s? How many heat cycles did you get on them leading up to this?

Yes, v730. Only 6. The shop I bought them from wants me to dismount and ship the tire to them before they will issue credit on it. Grr. That'll probably be near half the cost of just buying a new tire outright.

That's the whole point of these warranties... it's so inconvenient and expensive you just suck it up
