The F82 M4 and F80 M3 prototypes have now shed a significant amount of camouflage, revealing more than ever.

In the collection of photos and videos below you'll see a Frozen White M3, Alpine White M3, and a silver M4 coupe. By dropping some of their camouflage and being fitted with more final equipment/parts, we can now see (for the first time or better than before):

Carbon Fiber Seats

Carbon fiber front seats can be made out in the photos as the F80 M3 drives by the camera. Although its CF weave can't be seen, the carbon fiber back of the seats are clearly reflecting light and it's easy to tell that the seats are of the single piece 'racing' variety - without separate headrests. Remember, BMW recently fit standard carbon fiber race seats in the E90 M3 CRT (with heavily bolstered individual seats in the back). Might we see a similar setup in the new M3 and M4?

Side Mirrors

We see for the first time uncovered production M3 and M4 mirrors. The silver M4 shows that they will have a double-prong base, just like on the E90/E92 M3.

CSL-style Trunk

The CSL style trunk on the M4 can finally be seen more clearly with the majority of its camouflage removed. The M3 prototypes continue to be spotted with a standard trunk + lip spoiler, so this may be one of the styling elements which BMW plans to use to differentiate the M4 and M3.

Hood Bulge

With the camouflage removed from the hoods all except for the hood bulge area, it's now easier than ever to make out its shape and size.

To see other equipment that the M4 and M3 will come with, see our regularly updated M3/M4 details compilation.

Thanks to BIMMERPOST members karussell, timosaur and M3 Piotr for their contributions.

Just please let us get those CF seats in the US. Don't think all of us are too fat for supportive seats as you did with the F10 where the adjustable side bolsters were EU only...

I'm not seeing the double-spoke mirrors in the coupe images. Though I do expect them to look like the E90/2/3 mirrors.

Small image, but it's visible. You can see a gap between the prongs (both on the mirror itself and in the window reflection.

Honestly I'm more interrested in steering and suspension specs than the engine. It's an M-engine, it will be good.

Unless the base price goes up a significant amount I think the CF seats would be a pricey option rather than being standard....that's if the CF seats are to be available in the production version at all.

I can't see the US getting those seats. I bet those will be an option and we won't get it.

I wonder if these seats are going going to be the same ones that BMW performance parts is working on.

Would be nice to get a more sporty seat option for all bmws. We never officially got the BMW performance seats in the US for the current gen cars, that and they are like 5k imported
