Hey folks, for those who plan on buying a helmet I just wanted to share some info on the one I purchased. I got a SA2020 rated one - I noticed that this usually goes for around 200 plus 25 more for shipping on Amazon. But when/if you buy it direct from the manufacturer you can save 40 bucks because it’s cheaper and has free shipping. I scooped this one, below, in silver. Just FYI

How much tread on our tires you think we'll need? I also got a two hour drive home

Either get a tire appointment or try to keep at least 3/8s I would say. Don't risk a blowout. If anyone is interested PM me and I will share with the OP.

I know they do for motorcycles which is the main reason I go to THill. I can’t say for sure if they do it for cars though but wouldn’t be surprised if so. If you use up your tires though, you know where to find tires when we get back to the East Bay lol

I’ll be there around 8:30 actually to sort out the autoX with the cones

Thanks for coming out! I really can’t overstate how good your paint looks in the flesh

Looking at March 2024 for the next one 🛞💨

Thinking March 16, 23, or 30th FYI

For Part II:

Date: March 31, 2024
Location: Big Pad, Thunderhill Raceway
Time: 9am-5pm
Price: $150 per Car

We were reviewing the price structure for each skid pad and discovered the "large" drift pad is not much more for being literally 2-3 times larger.

We were calculating the prices per driver for the "large" pad. For 10 vehicles it would only be 150.00 each!!!! We have to limit the count to 10 as the price significantly increases anything over 10.

As we learned from this past weekend, there is more than enough track time for everyone, so if the morning doesn't work into the schedule, show up around lunch. Or the other way around.

Because the pad is so large, we are planning to have one section for 1) Auto X, and the other for 2) Drifting/car control. Last but not least, at the far end of the pad we can have 3) Drag Racing.

Please let me know if you would like to attend. As it stands, 6 of the 10 spots have been spoken for.

Thanks!
