The removed muffler as you see here weighs about 42 lbs.

We did just a muffler delete, leaving the OEM cats and resonator (so we can make sound at all the race tracks

Sound clip of the exhaust with muffler deleted idling and moving in the garage

Well idk bout y'all. But I'm getting a custom exhaust made, straight pipe all the way, no muffs or resonators or cats, single midpipe to y split. But 3 weeks ago I removed full cat back, running just open down pipe. Obviously still have primary cats, but she sounds mean at low rpm n wot, even for still having cats. Super deep under 3k rpm. Perfect cruising rpm right now is 3500 for tolerable drone. Just FYI for anyone that wanted to know.

The Track Edition is for those who like it loud and rowdy. All of the time.

The AWE Track Edition Exhaust for the F8X M3/M4 utilizes all of the precision engineering found within the popular SwitchPath™ Exhaust, minus the valves and rear muffler. What’s left? Straight-through, uninterrupted flow and tone.

Thanks to the precision-engineered integrated X-pipe up front, unwanted rasp typically found in other aftermarket F8X exhausts is subdued, leaving what would be classified as the “valve open” soundtrack from the SwitchPath™™™ Exhaust to sing loud and clear… just 100% of the time.

The Track Edition Exhaust retains the option of coming complete with either Resonated or Non-Resonated mid pipes, enabling a bit of fine tuning to desired tastes.

Tip Options:

All tip options include the AWE logo and double walling to ensure a mirror finish even under hard usage. All tips are individually adjustable, allowing depth into the bumper to be set according to personal taste.
  • 102mm slash-cut diamond black tips
  • 102mm slash-cut chrome silver tips

IMPORTANT NOTES:
The AWE BMW F8X M3/M4 Track Edition Exhaust is for racing use only.
The Track Edition is a loud system, and cannot be returned for sound preference under the 30 day satisfaction guarantee!

Agency Power Catback

Just got Agency Power catback installed. Stock downpipes and no other mods but a tune by BPMSport on Stage 1 with extra burbles.

Car is significantly louder than stock, and is a bit louder than normal due to having burbles added via the tune. This should be similar to what a ZCP and above would sound like with this exhaust.

Still breaking in the exhaust as I've only put maybe 100 miles on it at the time of making the video.

Does drone a little bit even in Efficient (valves closed). Highway cruising has a slight hum, but not too bad. I'd rate my annoyance at the drone at a 3/10. Car isn't really my daily driver, so I'll just deal with it.

The crackles and pops with this exhaust are very loud under deceleration.

Short Clip:

Remus Catback (also BPMSport Stage 1 w/ burbles) for reference:

I am beyond tired of exhaust systems that cost over 10% the price of the entire fucking car.

I prefer MPE exhaust with down pipe.

High pitch tone ~ which inline Six should sound.

Literally got my VRSF Catless DPs installed last night and BM3 OTS STG2 and went full aggressive on burble, and FYI my car still has no exhaust on it, so straight open catless DP. SOUNDS AMAAAAAAAZING! I LOVE IT!!!!!

PS - Hope I don't catch on fire lol
