Jb4 bluetooth not connecting

Hi everyone,

Installed the jb4 and rev 3 kit today. I have the version with the power and ground wires. I believe i installed everything correctly. Connected tmap, map, obd 2, power and ground for rev kit.

Car runs, but the app won't connect to the vehicle. When i tap "connect" on the app, it says "no ble devices found."

Change the kit revision to rev 3 under the settings tab. That should solve the problem.

couple things: make sure your engine type is F - Series all, connection type Rev 3, and if you're on Android restart your phone.Something about the Android's low power Bluetooth causes connection problems

I probably should have said that i chose "f - all series" and "rev 3" as well. Restarted my iphone 6s multiple times as well. No go...

damn. check to see if the jb4 connect is still secure to the jb4 board. May have came loose during install.

Hopefully there will be sunlight when i get home from work tomorrow. If not, i'll have to wait till next weekend

Thanks for the advice. Will update when i hopefully find out what is wrong.

after you set rev3 and F series all , close the apps and reconnect the bluetooth then try , coz sometime i use my phone apps get into another car , also need to try few time...

once you connected the first time , that issue won't happen again

Also make sure power cable is secure.

The connector came loose inside the enclosure. I sure won't be overlooking that if i ever have a connection problem again...
