M4 MPE tips

Hi - I’ve just had an MPE with titanium tips fitted to my M4.

Are these removable somehow - bolted or on springs like the factory system tips? I would like to remove them so I can get them powder coated black.

Thanks in advance

Matt

Look man, there are set screws on the bottom of each tip, back them out and slide the tips off (may need some messaging).

Ok thanks very much - I will have a look as you say - just wanted to check before I mess about - someone mentioned they are on a “security” type threaded screw tbat damages the thread upon removal so you can’t refit. Assume not?
