BMW - Sahkir Orange at auto show please!

Just boarded plane for Detroit to see the new cars and colors there in person - can't wait to see how colors compare live vs pics...

Anyway - would love to see Sahkir orange live at Chicago auto show in feb - or at least pics from another auto show so I can make up my mind on color - I keep switching my favorite color on almost a daily basis - help!!!!

Agree!

I believe SO is the only color now that has not been seen on any fully uncovered F8x. We've seen YMB, AY, SS, BS, MG on show cars; and MW, AW (as well as some of the others I just mentioned) on fully uncovered test cars. Actually I am not 100% sure about AW. But as far as I know, there are no pictures of uncovered cars anywhere in SO yet.

I don't remember seeing AW, but yeah, SO is mysteriously missing.

I would really like to a see a properly exposed Sonoma Beige too -- I generally don't like beige but have been intrigued by some shots; however, I've read that those shots were overexposed.

+1. I keep going back and forth between YMB and SO. It would make things a lot easier if we could finally seem some pics of SO without and camo. I'm leaning a lot more towards the SO right now as I think it will look great with the "black" wheels and black interior.

Sakhir Orange vs Fox Red leather

Dealer had this Sakhir sample. Not the right texture, but you can get an idea. This was in bright sun, so it's reflecting a little. Actually looks a little darker than this.

Hmmm! What color is the seat next to the color swatch? I think SO will need to be mated to a dark color to appear as 'red' as possible.

I believe it's Fox Red per the title of his post.

If I do end up with an M3 or M4, it's going to be either YMB or SO. Probably SO for the convertible, YMB if I go sedan.

So if it is the YMB sedan, I am going to go with SO interior.

I figure that driving an M3 automatically brings hate from half the population, and YMB should draw in another 25%. With the SO interior, I will have the harnessed the hate power of just about every person on the planet. Think of the possibilities.

(Then again, you could say that the YMB/SO convertible would be the ultimate hate machine. So there is still room for improvement. )

Nah, AY/SO convertible will surpass your combo.

For the sedan I agree, but I personally put the YMB/SO convertible slightly ahead of the AY/SO convertible. It's a real close call.

I ordered PY/IR back in 2003, and I didn't need a deposit. Then again, I had previously purchased a car from Shelly, and I was on first name basis with the people in charge there.

Lol! Mention Ronald McDonald car on E46Fanatics, and I'll be the one and only person they mention.
