So What Car Will You Be Replacing with the New F8x..Show and Tell!

I thought it would be interesting to see pics and read about what kind of car will be sacrificed in the name of F8X ownership among Forum members lined up with interest to buy. I am sure not everyone, like myself, will be moving from one M car to another and there would be some interesting points to share that swayed your vote. What are your specific reasons for doing so?

I will go first. My sacrificial lamb was a 2013 Porsche Boxster S Spyder. She was a unique car indeed in a special order GT Silver color with full Natural Red interior with 20 inch wheels. The Sport Exhaust button was my favorite feature by far and the handling was stellar. Nevertheless as much as I loved the car and how it handled at extremes I cut my time very short with her once I ran into an old friend with strong BMW NA connections that assured me he can help getting me the first allocation with a local dealer. After some reflection, I let her go quite easily and put my name into the pool to secure #1 spot with dealer. In retrospect the Boxster S is without question one of the best sports cars in the world, a true classic. Nevertheless I still never got the special feeling like when I bought my first BMW back in 2006, a 330i with the Sport Package. One trip to the tail of the Dragon left me in awe of the connection to the road and feeling like I never have had in any other car. I am actually now organizing a group ED with other forum members and cant wait to reclaim the spot in the garage with a true sports car once again and bring me back home to BMW again. Here are a couple of pics to share and looking forward to replacing the parking spot with the correct Bavarian Machine.

My new M3 will be my daily driver replacing my current 335, which has been a really great car. Nearly 40k on the clock and so far all I've replaced is a tail light bulb.

My 335 will be gone, still have the 650 but the new M3 will be the queen of my garage. The 650 will be gone next year and replaced with either z06 or the new c63 amg.

I will be replacing my 2013 328i Sport Line. I do love my car very much and I have gone to great lengths to make it my own. I just figure that the F80 was the look I was going for in the long run with my car anyways.

I thought I'd be selling my 1M for it but ended up trading it in for a good price. My Mini GP will be sold/traded in for the M3.

Very Nice Kief! I always appreciate all the custom details and clean condition of most all with a 335i. Wheels are sharp also and looks like spend a lot in microfiber towels

My favorite color combo and wish the wheels were all black in the M4. I'm thinking to get car with stock 18s for winter rubber and do the performance wheel in black/white. Just curious what what was missing from your ultimate mission. Are you moving to an M car for first time?

Traded my e92 m3 for a more "family" car. In comes the 2014 jeep srt. Big regret! Now the wife is buying an x5 and I get my M4!

Order will be restored soon enough! My wife has already put me on notice for the X7. If BMW had a true 7 passenger SUV like we need I would be all over it as well.

The SRT is a pretty cool car. My brother owns one and it's a total hoot to drive. I'm pretty sure it would leave my 135i behind.
