I've only seen pictures as well. I ordered cloth and was concerned that they didn't come with any heated seats. That would have been bad, because my car is in production and I just assumed heated seats were standard. Time to look over my build sheet again.

The "cloth" is pretty awesome in person. Alcantara would have been sweet but the "cloth" is not the type of cloth a typical car would have. It's hard to describe is great detail but definitely worth a look in person.

Right, heated *rear* seats are not available in the M3 with the cloth interior (they are not available at all on any M4 no matter what the interior). Heated *front* seats are available (and are standard equipment in the US).

If I had to order over again I might choose the cloth seats and 18" wheels. Very difficult decision, both are nice.
A low-option M3 is a fantastic choice in my opinion.

I want to change to the cloth seats, but I can not find them in person anywhere. The pictures look good to me.
People that have had them does it feel like a black interior color wise? Does the headrest feel good, I keep my hair real short, does the weave feel smooth or is there a bit of texture. I really want to go with cloth...but the fear of the unknown is killing me. |

Is leather really included in the Exec package? I'm about to order a MW/cloth M3 on Saturday. I seen the cloth in person and I think it's really sporty - the only bummer is not getting the rear heated seats.

Don't even think of a 4 series.
Take M4 even without options. The DCT and suspension are WORLDS apart. 4er is a piece of junk compared to M4. Luxury fades off when the car drives poorly. I learned this the hard way with my 2 individual 5ers E60 and F10. Now I'm on a significantly less luxurious M4 and would never go back. |

Finally, I'm ok with getting leather but the seats must ventilated or cooled. It's ashamed that a 70k bmw does not have this option. So funny you guys are even talking about luxury when ventilated seat is not even an option. You guys have no idea what luxury is. Also leather does not breathe so to me it's very uncomfortable after 20 minutes. So if I decide to get the M4, I will definitely get the cloth. Although I'm hoping for 2015 they decide to add seat ventilation as an option. But I will never get leather seats again without ventilation. |

I have the black, and I'm so fucking stubborn, I drove the bloody thing with a towel under me a lot. IT JUST FUCKING HURTS! Not having cloth seats is the biggest fuck up of anyone with a family or dogs, or a bit short way to dress. My Peter will have to be traded one day to something I can go into without screaming like someone is killing me at summer times.

Cloth all the way,, ''as the likes of BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Audi increasingly rely on
fake leather in their cars,, Many mainstream manufacturers sell cars with a blend of genuine leather and synthetic vinyl seats, but some are ambiguous when describing their products. Toyota has been accused by the'' ACCC of misleading customers over the use of leather - and fake leather - in its cars.

Passed on one with cloth seats (but having second thoughts). Oddly, it had/has cloth seats and CCBs and was priced at $87k, I believe (or very close to it). The interior of the M4 is VERY similar to the F30s, which is nice, but I must say the Nissan SUV I just bought for the kids (to trash) is actually more luxurious than the M4, even with the extended leather.
Then again, one doesn't buy this car for the interior and I'm hard pressed to say anyone actually notices the leather in my 335i. I think if you're looking at an X5- where the cockpit is far more open to your senses, it makes a difference. But you're buying the M4 to drive and to have fun in. If it's a question of buying it with cloth seats, or not buying it at a all, I say buy it with cloth seats!
