Dear BMW, I would be first in line for one of these. Make it, or at minimum give us a 335i touring!

I meant in the US market. I work for a large dealer in the central region and we don't sell more than one wagon a month.
Good data point but when BMWNA only offers the lower end power plant, the results speak for themselves. Cheers!

F81 in an individual color with standard mods (suspension, wheels, cosmetics) would be a how stopper…I'd buy that in a heartbeat!

I see a lot of Audi A4 avants in the DC area
So it's not a problem with the body style
Not sure why the BM doesn't sell
I know whenever I see one it always catches my eye

Ok I just checked
Audi is selling roughly 2-3000 a year of the A4 avant and Allroad (basically the same car with plastic fender covers)
So if BMW can justify selling the Z4 which sells in similar numbers, and using custom body parts
Why not a wagon M3?

I can't see a M3 wagon costing more to develop than the grand coupe 3 series monstrosity they are making, so it's not about costs

Wow really polarizing.

It's even more unfortunate that it might be made but BMW won't bring it to the US. They are broadening (dilluting...) the M line so much why the heck not build it? As I get older and now how two little boys such a car is very appealing to me.

It can be found locked away in a BMW garage. http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=509914

They have also built (and sold) M5 wagon's e39 and e60, but none of them made it to the US (legally). When I googled that to make sure I had it right, e34 popped up too, but I think those might be replica's/conversions. I am not sure.

No
There was a M5 E34
I remember it was in a nice blue with dark grey lower panels
Looks mean, for its time

As a past e90 335i and M3 owner as well as a e61 535i owner that did the m5 front end conversion I would much rather own a touring over the sedan or coupe. Besides being functional I personally love the look and find them way more unique.
To get them legalized would cost $$$ for how little they'd sell. Don't get me wrong, I still want one so bad

I spotted this back in May, but never posted it. I'd seen 2-3 E91M conversions on here, but never this one:

I feel like the world should just have an universal safety test.

If it's safe enough for European autobahns, it's safe enough for US. And speaking of that, why don't US trucks have those metal side deflector thingies?

I'd have an RS4 or RS6 over ANY coupe you can name, sadly just can't afford one!! BMW have overlooked the fast wagon segment which is perplexing seeing as they've overstuffed just about every other one.

+1

So a car for every segment (bar the one we're discussing) yet they'll decide if you're allowed to buy it... Hmmm
