I would avoid the service department at Momentum BMW at all costs. They always overbook and will have your car forever. I've actually had the exact opposite experience at momentum vs advantage. I had a pretty bad experience at Advantage's service department and haven't gone back since. I've only had good experiences at Momentum with Shef, he's timely and always keeps me updated throughout the process

Also any of you guys driving around with a lowered suspension in Houston. Trying to figure out how smart is considering all the driveways are pretty steep there.

My F82 is stock height with a front carbon lip/splitter. I have to be VERY careful how I approach corners/curbs/parkinglots/driveways or I'll scrape.

If the lip wasn't there, it wouldn't be a big deal stock height (for the most part)

I drove a 2013 F30 335i lowered on H&R super sports when I first moved to Houston for back in 2014. I definitely would not recommend doing it. Driveways are too steep and the roads inaide the loop are too crappy.

I was fortunate enough to never have damaged my front bumper, but it was damaged by the stealer and a valet. Luckily they paid to repair it.

Hey all! I never introduced myself

2016 Mineral Grey F80 with European Delivery in September 2015 and received in Houston in October 2015. I live out in Richmond and work in downtown... use my M3 as my daily and loving every second of it!

I'm looking to do my first modification... the BMW M Performance Suspension (HAS height adjustable sleeve over kit). Has anyone done this in Houston? Do you recommend a specific dealer? How much did the install cost? How is the suspension on Houston roads?

Second that - have had Shef as a SA for over 15 years and 4 different BMWs - overall very good and always willing to work with me on any issue. Point re loaners is basically true but suspect not the only dealership with such rules?
