Sweet.

It will be interesting to see if there are any real changes beyond the obvious cosmetic things like the headlights and tail lights. Obviously the engine will stay the same (or at least the same configuration anyway, per the rules), and I imagine the majority of the chassis is going to stay as well. I'm sure they make tweaks every year though.

Is anyone else sick and tired of theis long-winded marketing technique? It seems everyone now has to do these teaser campaigns. B-o-o-o-ring.

All cars use a shared monocoque chassis. Like you said engine will not change, all teams use a 4.0L V8.

This is a spec series, one-off cars with aero pacakges that somewhat resemble their road going cars.

Right, that's why I am curious to see what BMW may decide to change besides the lights. Aside from those, last year's car looks different enough from an E92 M3 that it could just as easily be called an F82 M4. So it will be interesting to see if they do make any other noticeable aesthetic changes, other than possible aerodynamic updates that have nothing to do with the styling of the production car to begin with.

It's not a turbocharger, it's the symbol for the German postal service who sponsors the BMW teams or perhaps the series itself - can't remember which.

All cars use naturally aspirated 4.0L V8 engines. I believe it's next year that they switch to 2.0L turbocharged four cylinder engines.
