Yeah lol I know .... there’s no detailed comparisons on GTS vs CS vs real world differences in hardsware which is why I started another thread.

Questions are what forums are for

I have a 2018 ZCP M4 and had the DME unlocked and it is running a custom bootmod3 tune. I sometimes switch between different maps. If I get my car coded, will all the custom coding reset every time I reflash my DME?

Alex will be my "go-to guy" for coding from now on. I had him remote code GTS DCT and other goodies. The process is quick and painless. The guy is a true professional. Highly recommended.

I’ll use him once I get my car. My entire adult life I’ve never had this much issue waiting. It’s bloody killing me.

Hi Alex, do you charge again if a dealer resets the coding and we would want another session? If we visit your shop, is the car idling during the session or hooked up to battery charger? Are you available Saturdays at your shop? Thanks.

I don’t have my car yet bro. 7th December. Very much looking forward to it.

The waiting I was referring to was for the car not you. You’ve been very responsive no issues.

Just finished my remote coding session with Alex for LCI Tails, EBT, RR Gong, Adaptive Headlight2, increase Seat Heater Temps in all 3 levels, and bunch o' other items...

EZ session with no problems

Definitely the way to go if you don't want to bother learning yet another coding software - Alex is THE 'go to' remote coding source

Computer (preferably laptop for obvious reasons):
  • Can be Windows or Mac - faster the computer=better, OS can vary...
  • Best if you have the computer plugged in to 110V (not on battery) so there is no possibility of computer shutting down during session
  • Stable, good internet connection - either wired or wireless
Coding Cable:
  • BMW ENET CABLE (OBD2 to Ethernet) F-series Coding E-SYS ICOM Interface

I use this one & can verify it's high quality

https://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-ENET-CA...item1c8448edc0

Mobile Phone - used to communicate by text thru out coding session

Battery Charger - hook up to car during coding session

WinZip (or other app to unzip files)

Money - Alex will send an invoice immediately after session

Alex will send you a link prior to session with a Zip file of all software he will need. You will download the zip file & Unzip to your computer. In that file will be TeamViewer app - you will open it @ beginning of session & tell him the UID/Password that pops up. He can then link to your computer remotely, take control, and proceed to code

Alex did the remote coding for me yesterday. Thanks Alex! I am a repeat customer. He coded my car as soon as I drove off the dealership lot. 1 year later dealer flashed (right term?) the software to repair a malfunctiong heater, so I contacted Alex to re-code my car. I highly recommend Alex.

Updating software/firmware = Flash programming. Yes, the man knows what he is doing.

should this work?

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/New-Ethe...0AAOSwke9Z9pkw

i was reading the list of options on the OP, is that the TOTAL list? I saw another option i really liked but for the life of me cannot remember where. Does anyone else have another list or additional options?

also can someone confirm the auto seat works like this?

Easy entry – When unlocking the vehicle the drivers seat moves back to allow easy entry for the driver, upon starting the car the seat moves back to the previous position.

Added Comp package ASD and EDC along with the standard stuff most people get.

Highly recommend
So how did the GTS vs CS DCT flash comparison go? Which one you kept?

Can thes edc be added to non CP cars?
Which have the most noticeable improvement or in ranked order?
Or most just get all of them?
