Headed to AZ
Greetings gents. Am headed to AZ for a change of duty specifically to the Phoenix area and wanted to know from you guys where is the best place to go for service, parts, and/or upgrades/mods for my BMW's when I get there this summer?
Hate to leave my current dealership and my great independent/tuner shop in Portland, Or (Matrix Integrated) but need a local dealership and independent shop for major things. So figure I'd got to those who know. Thanks in advance.

There are a lot of places in Phoenix, including two or three dealers, also some aftermarket is based out of there, ESS and Vivid are the two that come to mind first but I think APR is across the parking lot from Vivid. I am down in Tucson which is about an hour away.
There is a carshow every Saturday at the Pavillions at Talking Stickm in Scottsdale, and a lot of the BMW/Euro people come out after the classic cars leave. They would probably be a good source of info as far as local PHX area shops go.

AZ is a a major car haven. AZ is known to have the most exotic and classic collection of cars. A lot of auto makers test their cars here also. You will have not problem finding places to work or mod your car. A lot of major names out here.

Thanks for the info. Will check it out later this summer. Is there a regular Cars & Coffee type event that folks go to?

Welcome to the area. There's a bunch of good Indy shops around. I use Flatout Motorworx or Ultimate Auto Works mostly because I race with the owners and see them at the track too.
For dealer work I use BMW North Scottsdale. Ask for Logan Carter.
