Heard it first hand at Bimmerfest. Hopefully (like pray to God) the production system is the same as this.

That makes a HUGE difference. The MPE would be part of my order if I was getting an M3/M4.

Perf exhaust sounds great on it, but still not good enough to overlook the terrible lines on the car. The m3 is growing on me. 4 just doesn't do it. |

Yeah no way it should cost that much, I don't care that it's an M tax thing...ridiculous.

Great idea, and BMW could shave some cost off of the MPE in exchange of not having to bolt on a stock exhaust.

I noticed that since day 1. Videos don't do justice to the F8X. Live always sounds better!

FFFFffffffffffffffptptpfpfpfpfpfpfpfpfpfpfpfpfpppp tptptppapffpt (30 seconds of farting noises) "Hi, I'm the M3/M4. Buy me and then immediately replace my exhaust so BMW can sell shit they should have included"

It is possible cabin noise in the stock setup is significantly quieter and that BMW is aiming to satisfy luxury oriented customers first in the sound department. And so, the performance exhaust is for the smaller group, or enthusiast clan, who want a loud car.
The markup makes no sense. 4, 5 or 7 k are too much for pipes, welds and cans. But business is business... I imagine. |

This exhaust sounds sick. I really wish BMW made this standard from the factory. I would be very impressed if it was truly a titanium full system. I may have to sell my Akra soon.
