M3 vs Mr
Only 0.15" wider per side, not enough to see; it's just a less integrated more pronounced fender bulge. The M3's framed doors are a big downer for me compared to the M4.

Most people on this forum have been saying it for a while. The M3 is much nicer looking. The M4 looks like it could be the next Civic Si. It's a rounded, terrible lump of disjointed curves and odd proportions that has very little classic BMW design language IMO.

On a serious note, though, I don't believe BMW ever posts "official" Nurburgring times for its cars. Someone please chime in and correct me if I'm wrong. |

It didn't make sense from the beginning that M3 is 4 door to start with so why would anything make sense now?

Think thats the reason why M3 has those cool wide fenders. M4 will have slightly lower center of gravity though, simply because its lower than the M3. |

Yeah too bad no F80 in BSM... I like this color on the saloon
The lighter colors popped more on the E9XM... The darker ones on the new ones except white The more I see the F82 the more it looks weird... Why no extravaganza? While not roll out the big guns? Bc BMW wants everyone to turn to the I division until they recoup all the funds from hpfp buy backs I'm sure they will both be very fast Would be cool to see F80 in frozen blue or grey or even Dakar or VO or SO for that matter I think BSM over SO would be good for the show with m perf parts |

Damn that front bumper is fugly and the more I see these cars, the less I like them. I never thought there would be a day that I wasn't drooling over a new M3.

I've said this from day 1, and I continue to say this.. I'm just not into this car. From the news of when the name would now be "m4" I was turned off, and I am still turned off. F10 M5 and F12 M6 take the cake for this new generation of FI M cars.

Riiiiggghhhttt. Except I'm not married and drive an E92. The fact that you're getting so emotional about it tells me you're the one who needs validation.

These are the colors that will stand out the most on the road and give the M3 presence and turn heads. Typical Alpine White or some Kind of Gray would be boring IMO since you will see those way more often! |

I think the blue on the M3 is fine. As for white, it makes all of the lines very apparent, and a well designed car looks great in white. I'm pretty sure the M3 will look amazing in white and the M4 is going to look even stranger than it already does.

Ugh, I just noticed the standard stupid reflector again just ahead of the front wheels. I don't know how I've not noticed that until now.
I don't really like the look of the covers that much, either. Perhaps it won't be that expensive to fill and flush. Actually this sentiment has been making the rounds across a number of sites and even among folks I talk to in, *gasp*, real life. The sedan's a looker.
