Hi all - wondering if anyone can shed some light..

I drove from Sydney to Canberra on the weekend, and by the time I arrived in Canberra the sound of my exhaust had completely changed - it sounded totally muffled and had lost all the rasp - since the trip when the car/exhaust is warmed up it is sounding the same, totally different to how it used to be (sounds almost like a standard exhaust again)

Setup
2016 F80 ZCP
MPe with about 11,000kms
Valve controller

I have checked to make sure the valves are open and can't think of anything else that could be causing this - any ideas?

EDIT - I had the software in the car updated on Friday before the trip - thinking maybe the valve controller needs to be updated as well

Try without the valve controller i am sure that will solve it.

I emailed the guys at burger - no updates for the valve controller, and according to them if it is displaying the setting changes on the instrument cluster then it will be working correctly - back to the drawing board..

Any other ideas?

There have been a lot of issues of exhaust cracking but also failure within the muffler itself.

I would get it checked at the dealer.
