Dinan muffler fitment

So I just installed Dinan muffler to pair with my cts catted downpipe and single mid, it sounds awesome. The one thing I can’t get right is how short the tips set, you can’t barely see it. Anyone have any advice on how I can make at least the Dinan logo visible? Do I need a new diffuser?

The tips are not adjustable? Every muffler I’ve had for my f82 and e92 m3s have had adjustable tips (held on by clamps - loosen clamps, slide forward and retighten the clamps).

I don’t think this is the case on the f8x but on the e9x M the coupe has longer tips than the e90. I don’t believe the f82 has longer tips than a f80.

Maybe your slightly longer rear diffuser could be partially blocking your tips.

You talking about Dinan mufflers? I know AWE and OEM is adjustable, but I don't think Dinan muffler tips are adjustable.

No. I wasn’t suggesting the Dinan has adjustable tips. You have the hardware in hand. Sorry for any confusion

Your best bet is a different diffuser. I wish Dinan made their tips bigger and more pronounced, I do enjoy the exhaust system alot. Before I had a diffuser they were more predominant but now with my aggressive one not so much. I would look for a mild looking diffuser or I believe you can put aftermarket tips on the dinan ones to make them pop out more. (wont say dinan though)

You should be able to adjust it from where it connects to your mid pipe, the Dinan clamps are typically 3-4" long so there is room for adjustment.

I have a single mid paired with a Dinan and the fitment is fine. I have a Status Gruppe CF diffuser and I can see the logo clearly. Best bet is to adjust the clamps between the connecting pipes and the muffler like jdmpimp said. Do you also have any sound clips with the downpipes? I am also planning on getting catted dps.

I don't have the dinan connection clamps, I have the clamps from my midpipe, don't really extend that long. Might be looking to get a better clamp.

I'm making the sound clips soon, its sounds really good.
