I would go to a new dealer. What inspection do you need they wont do?
PA state inspection. I was thinking about going somewhere else but it's free there.

The what?

Edit: oh the tools... No just press hard with your thumb at the bottom of the stock reflector, and keep constant pressure. In this cold weather it may be easier to warm it up a bit.

IND,
were the mineral white issues resolved?

Nope. They are selling their last few sets. I just installed mine over the weekend. There's a little contrast just like the pics you see around with the mineral white. But definitely worth it, better than stock or tinting it

Unfortunately, this is not possible. We have brought numerous vehicles in-house and even shipped client bumpers to our facility. We can match a single vehicle, but that mixture will not match another Mineral White vehicle. This is simply the nature of 3 stage paints. We will always offer a solution to customers seeking something better than the factory ambers, but they will never be guaranteed to match 100%.

I'm getting a bit nervous reading about how difficult it has been for some of you to install (I'm NOT handy at all, and am scared I'm going to damage something) as well as the person who's dealer refused to inspect the car. Has anyone else had issues with their dealer giving them crap about replacing the reflectors?

IND,

Just bought YMB set. Does the color match issue effect YMB also?

No issues with YMB. In fact, we have a couple YMB vehicles in-house. The color match issues are related to a 3 stage paint, Mineral White. None of the other standard BMW colors are 3 stage

Try using a little heat from a hair dryer. The reflectors are attached via an adhesive, so loosening the adhesive can pay dividends. After they are a little warm, use the pry tool and create some leverage.

Turn the steering wheel to give you room
Use a hair dryer or a heat gun and press hard on the stocker.
Be very careful if you use a heatgun you can melt both the plastic and the wax.
Apply heat for a few seconds, test the surface with you hand, reapply heat until it's very warm to the touch.
Press hard on the stock reflector, it'll slowly break free.
Remove stock adhesive
Place the new reflector in
FBGM

I have the side cameras and giant monkey hands. It's possible.

I got the mineral white ones after i went to IND and checked to see if they match. For my car it matches 100%, if not pretty close to that.

thanks, finally got it off after 2 hours... used a heat gun but I also removed the wheels. the reflector came off minus the adhesive. I had to peel and rub the existing adhesive on the panel.

btw, what does FBGM mean?

Go online buy some reflective tape cut to the size of the reflector stick on. Get inspection then heat up and take it off.
