I dunno what it is about the new seats, but fuck.....I like the seats in my previous E9X M3's MUCH better. I'm going to have to get black or red to make those seats tolerable.

Does anyone know what the new key fob on the M3/M4's look like?

interesting. I find the seats a massive upgrade. I don't like my e9x seats and think they look kind of cheap. I love the new seats, they remind me of the upgraded seats in a 911.

Because that's the first month that these cars will roll out of the factory, so those will be the first cars available to both customers and press. Current existing models (car show models) are not used for press drives. |

I hate the shape of the headrests and I don't like those perforated squares in the seats. I like the seat backs, but the overall shape just doesn't sit well with me. It's not a deal breaker by any means, but it's an aesthetic attribute that I will do my best to hide and/or mute (..which likely means my interior will be black). |

This was my biggest worry about the F80. I have been in several F30 loaners and man, they just disappointed, especially the seats, which have been terrible! But the full leather interior looks like it really changes the look of the interior. I'm glad you verified that it feels like a real M. Did you see the gauges? How do they look? That's another gripe of mine, but it looks like between the backlit numbers, the larger black panel and the lack of KM/H markings, they look much better. THANKS again. |

M235i looks amazing - the back could use a little work, mostly with the taillights, but the front is perfect, and it needs to go on a diet. 3505 lbs is waay too much for the M235i. I would love to get an EBII M235i but my wife made me reconsider getting a coupe given our family ambitions. So I'll prob shell out the extra 20K for the M3 when they get some more decent colors.

As an aside, I just checked with contacts at 3 local dealers. All of them have more people on the M3's waiting list than the M4's. If the coupe is outsold by the sedan, I will be in utter disbelief (..not because I feel like the M4 looks better, but because the coupe has always sold more historically).
