Don't get me wrong. I'm sure it's a fantastic car and very fun to drive. Heard the guys revving it at Bimmerfest East and eh. It's just not for me.

The one we heard at Bimmerfest was the prototype system which only got 1 sets of cats.
The production systems won't be as loud cause it will have 2 sets of cats and resonators. |

The 'M' car does not come with an exhaust that sounds like that in stock form?
I can understand all of the lower level models but the M car? Really??? That is a bummer.

I've heard rumored MSRP for MPE is going to be around 5000-5500 but we will see.

BMW could learn something from Porsche. First, you can spec out a sports exhaust with Porsche. And second, it costs much less than the MPE. And of course, at least to me, the Porsche 911, Cayman, and Boxster all sound better than the M4 sadly. I love the M cars and drive an E92 and will probably purchase an M4 shortly, but BMW can do much better in the exhaust department, IMO

This is what I have heard also and that is what I am budgeting for it, again, to me it will be hard to buy the M4/M3 without it. I know the M PE will not be the only option out there so we will see how things play out within the next few months...
