Extending O2 Down-pipe Wiring

Thinking about running the Outcast 2-1 Merged Downpipe—it’s a twin 3” merged into one 3.5”. The biggest issue is that the downpipe would either require an oxygen sensor loom extension or running one of wires underneath the cat with heat insulating (easiest option but I don’t want to do that long term).

Question: Anyone have any know-how in extending wiring looms easily?

See attached images for reference.

Thanks

Lots of room to run it behind the engine over the transmission.

Gotcha, I’ve never installed downpipes (on this car) so didnt know the length of the wires would accommodate that route, just assumed they’d be too short.

Would that result in too much heat exposure for the wires?

Thanks for the reply.

get some heat wrap / insulation and keep them off the downpipe and you should be good.
