Not to mention if the previous owner was curbing wheels and adding bumper dings s/he was potentially negligent in other areas (like proper warm up of engine before driving hard, trying to avoid big potholes). There is also a service history gap.

That particular example was just not a good one but the idea of a higher miles and lower cost car is worthy to pursue, I think

Was just perusing autotrader...looks like prices dropped on 15-16' M4s big time. Seeing 2015 with less than 15k miles going for $48-49 now

3 year old model now - residuals were expected to be 62-65%.

Price is about right to that end.
