We'll have to do the 'ol agree to disagree. I don't need a blindfold (plus I think I'd puke ). I put Forgelines on my GT350, which saved about 10 pounds a corner over the heavy ass stock wheels and I felt an immediate difference in various vehicle dynamics.

I've also had M3/4s with sunroofs. My current car with the CF roof and 763m wheels feels better/more dynamic to me.

on another note...

Personally I find the 666 wheels look too big for the car. Like the kid that decided to get dubs on his ride cause he thought they were cool. To me, they stick out more and just look so aftermarket. And that's all my opinion - but some facts...
1. Cool that BMW started offering a choice (too bad they don't do the silver 437s cause those would be sweet on tanzanite)
2. The 666s don't ride as well as the 437s. That doesn't matter to a lot a of people.
3. They are heavier - but like a sunroof adding weight up top and ruining our lap times, nobody here is ever going to notice this in driving or tracking their M3/M4.
I don't believe that a single element such as the wheels or the sunroof will make a marked difference in performance (although unsprung mass is not to be neglected in terms of handling improvements). It is however the accumulation of all the weight savings elements that make the difference. The M3/4 are, on average, the better track performers relative to their direct competition mostly due to their weight advantage.

I like the 666 wheels because I can put DUB stickers on my fenders. My inspiration:

A persons actual weight seems to be more of a hindrance rather than 4 pounds for wheels. If I’m 250 and youre 150 and I have a full tank of gas and youre on less than a quarter, then I’m pretty screwed. In the end, we make the biggest difference in reference to weight savings, not these minimal equipment weight differences.

Hmm all getting very wheel specific.

For me 763Ms are the best OEM thing to happen in a long time. I'm maybe holding on for a more feric grey version (as my car in Black, I'm looking for some contrast on my incoming M3CP that will have silver 666devils wheels.

I've also owned an M4 and M2 with 437Ms also a classic! Love them!

For me 763 ticks loads of boxes
- Lightest!
- I love the look
- Easy to clean (lower spoke count)

Both the others tick 2 if the boxes for me but not all 3.

Personal preferences anyway.

When I see posts from the "The only way to option a car is the way I optioned mine crowd" I imagine what their reaction would be when they pull up to a stop light and are surrounded with cars exactly like theirs.

I personally like the idea that my car is somewhat unique. I am sure that there a many out there that are the same or at least very similar but the chances of me running into one are rather slim.

Just my $0.02 on the matter, I found the 2018 M3 ZCP very confortable and much more so than my previous 2016 M4 with 19" wheels. the M3 rides very comfortably even in Sport compared to the M4. The wheels on the M3 (666 style) have gotten nothing, but compliments. Very happy with the switch. Now if only BMW made a Gran Coupe version of the M4

I have not found my 2018 M4 with ZCP and 19s to be any less comfortable than my 2015 M4 with 18s and adaptive M suspension. I don't care for the looks of the 20" 666 rims and if I had them on my car and received 15 compliments a day I still would not like them.

The driver's own weight is pretty much a constant for a given driver. If “your” 250lb self drives a 3500lb car or a 4000lb car, the lower weight car will perform better regardless how much you weigh. So that argument is moot.

Further, “your” 250lb remains sprung weight. Reducing unsprung mass does wonders to keep the tires on the ground for improved grip. Removing 16lb on the wheels will make a much greater improvement on handling than going on a 16lb diet.

But like I said, it is not the individual elements in isolation that are that noticeable, it is the cumulative effect of all the small weight savings elements that add up to a noticeable improvement overall.

I was thinking I was making a point that in an overall track experience, worrying about 16 lbs is pretty insignificant when there are other more substantial weight saving areas that can be addressed by the driver. My point, seems to me the heavier total mass going around a track would lead to a less satisfying result.

But surely I’ll agree, less 16lbs unsprung can’t hurt either.

Yes.

Everyone has their own taste. I personally like the wheels. I like the blacked out bits. I like the seats. And from my understanding, BMW sorted out a rear suspension issue that the standard M3 had along with a slight boost in HP.

In my opinion, it's the way the M3 should have come from the factory.

Mine did come that way from the factory.

To each their own, I just love thos 666M wheels

The 19" wheels were sporty, although these wheels make even more of a sporty statement. I haven't seen similar wheels out there, which also adds to the uniqueness of the car.

That being said, they are very annoying to clean

I get that people like the design/look. But, I don’t get the sporty part of it.

In my opinion they give the car a sophisticated look that the other wheels lack. They (the 666s, tinted) have a very delicate yet high precision look and the two-tone finish is ultra high end in person. They are the ultimate big-pimpin' badass wheel.

That said, I LOVE the CS wheels as they have a very sport/lightweight look. I just don't think the finish is flattering for such dainty spokes. They need a little more pop - they should've been gloss black in my eyes. But the spokes' dimensions are quite impressive in person. VERY sharp and sporty wheel design.

So we have two amazing choices now:

- The dark 666s for the pimp daddy look (these compliment the CF roof and gloss black trim like no other - truly breathtaking)
- The 763s for the sporty/all-business look

With the tinted 666s and 763s now in the world, the standard 18/19 are vastly outclassed by them in terms of visual appeal.
