I've used it once, when we were throwing away a bunch of CDs, and I used the player to rip them to the hard drive

Thanks for the reminder. I totally forgot about it. Only used it like once when I first got my car and now I just put my music on a USB Flash Drive and be done with it

Only reason I needed one was for media player. But, BMW has bluetooth and auxiliary and usb.

I don't, in lieu I use lossless compressed Flac, they should remove the CD player to reduce weight on the M

In all fairness it's actually a DVD drive. If you code video in motion it makes it somewhat useful.

Yes with room to put it in the car without taking up the trunk. Maybe a roof attachment or a conental kit with a chrome trim ring!
