Recommended service center for VA?

Excited to be coming up on the 1200 mile service. Got my M3 from BMW of Rockville, but I live in Fairfax.

Anyone have recommendations between the service centers in Virginia? The Fairfax one is closest to me, but not opposed to the drive to Sterling or Alexandria.

I buy my cars at Passport BMW but I service my cars at Fairfax BMW and I haven't had any issues in over 5 years.

BMW Silver Spring my 1200 service was smooth no issues. I also got my car from Rockville BMW.

Appointment hasn't come up yet but I will keep you posted. Wonder how long the appointment takes, and if it's worth just staying at the dealership while they take care of it.

For the 1200 service. You shouldn't be there past the 1.5 hour. Mines was tops 1hr although the M tech came out to grab my car right away so idk if that made a difference.

I just got my car serviced there. I didn't even get an extra mile after they had it for a week. Great service but their valet is horrible. U have no choice but to wait for them to pull ur car up after service. They're super slow. Other than that I would highly recommend.

Following up to this - waited for my car and took about 1-1.5 hrs. Their lounge is decent, strong wi-fi, free drinks/snacks, the usual.

I didn't have a hard time with the valet, maybe bc I was waiting there during the service. Went in for a 8am appointment.

You can specify for them to not wash the car, to minimize any swirl marks. Wonder if they'll just do the interior only, next time.

BMW of Alexandria is AWESOME! I had two assignments at the Pentagon and took my BMWs there from 98-01 and 10-14 and then for the last 5 months. Nothing but first class!

Call in and make the appointment with the receptionist and ask that Frankie is your service advisor. They can manually add it to the appointment automatically.

Good to hear. That was only my experience. The other customers there didn't have a problem getting their cars from valet after service. For some reason they just didn't want to get me my car. They kept asking to see my paperwork like 5 times in the 25 minutes I waited for valet to bring my car. At the end I just told my SA I needed to gtfo of there and I'll grab it myself.

For sure, the way that garage is built is funky. While I was waiting, there was this one guy who was pretty much about to rage due to waiting for his car for so long.
