Nice wheels and I have a set of the FF01 which need a refurb in the uk with prestige wheels (the local appointed HRE dealer).

I want the saspirila finish but am being told HRE won't ship / sell the powder coat to their own dealer.

The only way I can get that finish is by sending my wheels to California at a cost of £1200+ vat lololol

Hardly after sales service IMO #poor

Prestige Wheels is a dealer though, not a HRE Wheels manufacturing facility of which there is only one located in Southern California. Only in California do we have the capability of refinishing our wheels which is why we would want them to be sent to our location. This particular facility is the only one we trust to get the work done properly, and we should know, we made the product, so therefore any external work on HRE Wheels which is done outside of this facility can potentially void your warranty (this includes powdercoat). We do this to maintain the highest level of quality to our product, but also to ensure the lifespan of your wheels isn't diminished by high oven temperatures from baking powdercoat, or even making sure the prep before powdercoat is done properly so that you don't have gas bubbles in your finish or other imperfections.
